Holllllllllla :) :) :) !!!!!!
I can't believe it took me this long but.....I finally did it !!!!! I went out early this morning with my camera and drove up and down some of the concessions around our home and took pictures !!!!! I've talked about doing this forever and today I finally...JUST DID IT !!!! I'm an early riser so why it's taken me so long to actually do this I don't know but I can say...I'm converted !!! I'm planning on doing this a LOT more often !!!!!
Something else I remembered about why I love photography...because I see things differently again! I'm looking for beauty all around more...of course I see it in the faces of my husband, children and grandchildren but now I'm looking for it in creation again.
Today's picture was taken when I was heading home from taking the morning pictures and as I turn onto our little street I saw this abandoned shed...do you know I've lived on this street for 23 years and I've never paid attention to this. In fact if someone told me this as the end of our street I would have never believed it.
Thank you God for opening my eyes this morning...
Today I'm heading out to pick up Brooke & Mackenzie from Cait...they've been there since Saturday. I've missed them so much and I can hardly wait to have them under our roof again tonight :) PLUS I get to see Cait & Kendall !!!!
I'm feeling really good today...I need to remember how it feels to be "doing" the things I should and how I feel when I've added things to my "to do" that I shouldn't. I had such a great quiet time this morning....thank you God...for seeing Your beauty today and more importantly needing your grace on the days I don't see it...
