Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days! I had a couple of back to back workshops and classes (which were so much fun!!! :) so I didn't get a chance to post Kevin's Valentine's Day card until today.
The inspiration for his card came from here I can't believe I haven't done this kind of "peeking" technique with my punches before...it's so easy and gorgeous !
It's a good thing that I took a picture of Kevin's card before I gave it to him because when I gave him the card at dinner he ripped it taking it out of the envelope. Poor guy felt so bad...but I repaired the card yesterday morning and it's good as new again :)!

I can't believe it myself but our AMAZING son, Colton turns 20 YEARS OLD TODAY !!!!! We are so proud of him and love him so much and we're SOOOOO excited for his future !!!! I know how much God must love me by giving me Colton as a son!!! Thank you, Lord !!!! :) :) :)
He made a special request for his birthday cake and I'm excited to make it! I've never made this type of cake before but for him....anything :)
I'll post a picture of the Birthday boy (aka man) and cake tomorrow!!! :) :)
Well I'm off to make a Birthday cake, home school, make cupcakes for our SIL Scott's mom (Roylene) and future stepdad (Tom) as they get married on Saturday!!!! So excited for Roylene and Tom...they're a wonderful couple !!!! It's going to be a busy day...but a WONDERFUL day !!!!!
Dont' forget to hug the ones you love....hug 'em twice even....oh what the heck...go in for a third one too !!!!!

Sorry I haven't been here as often lately - I miss seeing your posts. This is a beautiful card. I love all the hearts - great job with the gel pen too. This is a great technique - I will be sure to try it out - thank you for the inspiration.
