Hollllla :) !!!

I'm so glad to be feeling better today after a weekend of feeling not so good.  It started on Friday, just felt kindof "off" the whole day and Saturday I was on the couch all day feeling crappy and then yesterday I felt quite a bit better but was still fighting the headache but today I feel a WHOLE lot better and more like my ol' self!

Thursday night's downline potluck/meeting was so great and I LOVED spending an evening with "the girls" and missed those that couldn't make it.  Tonight I have my upline's downline meeting (I know...it's confusing :) and I'm excited to see everyone there too !

Today I wanted to share with you one of our Stamp Club projects.  We used the super cute Petite Pockets & Two Tags die to make this little pocket/bookmark/Valentine's project :)

The idea came from my good buddy, Becky Roberts

Goooood Mornin' To Ya !!!!

The weather has been dreary all week but it's sunny where I am today...that's because tonight I'm having my downline (aka Roxy's Rollers) here for our Annual Potluck/Get-Together/Sale-a-bration kick off/Meeting !!!  I'm so excited to have the ladies here for an evening of eating (yum), talking (duh), learning (cause we're all so smart) and of course...STAMPING !!!!!  We were suppose to have our potluck last week but a storm kicked up that day and we decided it was wiser to postpone and thankfully the weather looks great for tonight !!!! 

Today I wanted to share with you one of the projects my Stamp Clubbers made this month :)  I'm a tea granny..I mean a major tea granny !!!  When I was little my mom and I had a tea party every day (it's one of a million wonderful memories I have of my childhood!).  We would sit at the little table and chairs that my dad made for me (he actually made me a matching fridge and stove too !!!!) and we would have bologna sandwiches cut out of cookies cutters and a little cup of tea....ahhhh...I have the best mom!!!

So....tea has ALWAYS been a big part of my life and I'm happy to announce that all my kids love tea too :)

When I saw these ADORABLE tea bag box I just about flipped out and KNEW we'd be making these at stamp club!

The best part is they hold both tea bags AND tassimo disks !!! Cool, eh???!!!!!

What an AWESOME, AWESOME day yesterday !!! I loaded up the car with my Mom, Jessica, Colton, Brooke, Mackenzie and myself and we had a ROAD TRIP to Kendall !!!!  I woke the girls up yesterday saying "Get up! It's Kendall Day" !!! :) :)

We had a great time seeing Cait, Ben & Kendall....ahhhhhh....I love my family...the only ones missing were Kevin & Scott who couldn't get away from work to make the trek with us....next time :(

Good Morning !!!!!!

Today I'm trying to keep extra busy today so I don't cry...we were suppose to take a road trip to Toronto to see Cait, Ben & Kendall but we had a storm yesterday and our car is pretty little for me to drive on an  "iffy" hwy :(  Monday's weather is looking better so we've just postponed it until then :)

BUT...Jessica has spent the week up with Cait and has enjoyed her time with her sister and niece and brother in law  :) 

Cait posted this picture of Kendall yesterday....oh my gosh....absolutely cutest picture EVER !!!!

Cait put the title "Kendall snuggling her cousin" on this picture...makes me teary just looking at it :) !!!

Today I also wanted to share with you one of the cards that we made at Trudy's birthday cardmaking night :)!

I wanted to show the ladies how simple a card can be and yet still have a "wow" factor!  I really love this card and plan on making lots of these to keep on hand and will stamp the greeting on later depending on what I need it for and the stamp set "Loving Thoughts" pg 15 from the new mini is perfect for these cards !!!!

Good Mornin' !!!!

WOWZA!!! What a GREAT day I had yesterday!  In the morning I had my daytime stamp club (love every minute with them!) and in the evening I had a cardmaking night that Kylene had arranged for her Mom's Birthday!!!  We had a great time and the ladies enjoyed the cards we made and the little extra gifts I had for Trudy!  What a sweet family...I completely enjoyed the entire evening!  Happy Birthday, Trudy!!!

I wanted to make these for a little Valentine treat and I'm pleased with how they turned out! :)

Today (after home schooling) I'll be doing the final prep for my Roxy's Rollers Downline/Annual Potluck/Get-to-gether/Sale-a-bration Kick Off Meeting :)  I'm so excited to have the ladies here for an evening of eating, laughing, brainstorming and of course...stamping :) !

Wow...did today ever get away from me ! :)  I usually stamp while the girls are doing their math work but I had a bunch of other stuff I had to do during that time, so instead my stamping was pushed off until lunchbreak :) sorry about that!

I'm super excited about a class I'm having on Tuesday, January 31st at my place!  Here are the details !

First...I want to share with you the latest picture of Jessica !!! I can't believe that she is due in 9 weeks!!!!  YIPPPEEE !!!!!  She looks absolutely amazing and beautiful !!!!!!  I can hardly wait to hold my grandbaby !!!!!

Scott is going to be an amazing Dad!  He's so protective of Jess and the baby.....love that boy!

I've had a great time this week playing with all the new Occasions Mini goodies !!!  I did absolutely no stamping over the holidays so it was nice to pull out new stamps/papers and accessories to work with after a long lull in non-stamping...I needed the inspiration !!! :) :)

I really love all styles of stamping but I think I'm drawn mostly to vintage and flowers.  I think the older I get the more I love Vintage...it helps me embrace my oldness :)

Oh my gosh...I LOVE Rue Des Fleurs from the New Mini!!!  The images and wording are just perfect!

I'm tellin' ya...this New Occasions Mini is spectacular !!!!! There are so many cool new tools from Framelit Dies to Edgelit Dies to Embossing Edge Folders to Punches to Jumbo Pearls to...wowza....you get the idea :)

Today's card I tried to use quite a few of the NEW PRODUCTS in the Mini !!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new stamp set called "Apothecary Art"...it's like medicine for my creative soul...get it...apothecary...medicine for my creative soul... :)  Come on..humour me here :)

Supplies: All Stampin' Up! and mostly from the New Occasions Mini :)  Stamps: Apothecary Art, Rue Des Fleurs; Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cherry Cobber, Very Vanilla; Ink: Early Espresso; Accessories: BIG SHOT!, Labels Framelits, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Adorning Accents Embossing Folders, Large Pearls, Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon, Regals Watercolour Crayons, Aquapainter.

If you look under the curvy lip of the flap of my card I layered another Edgelit using Early Espresso under the Crumb Cake..I really like how that turned out AND there's a coordinating embossing edge for it too :)

I know I'm gonna be so sad when this mini is done....it's absolutely fabulous and the new stuff is so awesome !!! I don't know how Stampin' Up! does it BUT they do it each and every time...continue to WOWZA me with every new release !!! LOVE MY STAMPIN' UP!!!!!!
