We have been experiencing a WONDERFUL repreive from the heatwave we've been having...sorry Tracy...I know it doesn't make you happy :) It's been great to turn off the air and crack open the windows and let fresh air in the house !!!! Ahhhhhh...I'm a happy Roxy :)
Today I wanted to share with you the last project that we made at the New Catty Stamp a Stack! I usually make everyone a little thank you gift for attending but decided to try something a little different and have everyone make the gift themselves :) I titled the instruction sheet "Make Your Own Thank You Why Don't Ya" :)
I LOVE the Bitty Box and you can get four Hershey's nuggets in the box when you place them in the box like we did :) We used the NEW "It's a Wrap" stamp set...oh my gosh...how cute is that stamp set !!!!
NOTE: If you are Canadian we only carry Hershey's Nuggets during the Christmas holidays !!! Thanks to my amazing parents who were in the U.S. when I realized this and picked up the Nuggets for me !!! Love ya mom & dad !!!!

WOWZA !!! What a busy & wonderful, amazing weekend !!!!! Saturday was our New Catty Stamp a Stack (tons of pics to share today with you about that !), Sunday both Mackenzie and I were in the drama at church (this was Macky's first drama and she nailed it !!! :)..so proud of her! and then Sunday afternoon we were completely blessed to attend the wedding of one of Caitlin's best friends (who is like a daughter to us) !!!
Although honestly I'm exhausted...I'm also exhilerated !!!
We had SOOOOO much fun at the Stamp a Stack and it seems everyone loved their projects as well :).....hence the name "Stamp a Stack Six Pack" :) We made SIX projects (3 sets of 4 cards, 1 set of 3" x 3" cards (6 of those), an adorable box to put the 3" x 3" cards in and a Bitty Box with Hershey's nuggets in them !! Count 'em....six projects in all !!!!
I wanted to share some pics from our day together...I LOVE each and every woman and Dan that came !!! :) :) :)
A HUGE thanks to Kevin, Colton, Brooke & Mac for helping with prep and set up...I honestly could not do this without you guys !!!!!

Hot, Hot, Hot, Holla !!!!
Have I ever mentioned that AUTUMN is my favourite time of year...hahaha ! I'm a REAL Canadian through and through...I love the cooler weather of Autumn and the cold of winter (not bittercold but cold :) This heat wave is officially NOT my best friend but that's alright...someone must have been praying for and needing it :)
Last night was SUMMERTIME BIG SHOT CLUB NIGHT !! We had such a nice time together...a few of my clubbers were able to get tickets for the Josh Groban concert for last night so our group was a tad smaller but wonderful non the less :)
Here's one of the four projects we made last night...gotta LOVE that Fancy Favour XL Box..I know I DO :) !!!!!
Have you seen the movie "Up"? My favourite part of the movie is when the dog is talking and stops all of a sudden and says..."squirrel"...I kill myself laughing EVERYTIME I watch that part..that random fact will make sense as you read on :)
We always have a ton of squirrels running around the backyard and Tyson is always trying to catch one (I'm afraid one of these days he will). Yesterday I was walking through the kitchen and saw this pathetic sight...even the squirrels can't take the heat around here. Don't worry...he wasn't hurt...as soon as I opened the back door he ran up the tree effortlessly...
I didn't want to scare him off so I had to take the picture through our kitchen window..yes....the fogginess of the picture should tell you how clean my kitchen windows are right now...hahaha

WOWZA IT'S HOT & VERY HUMID HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The weather channel says the next week is going to brutal !! With temps 32 C (90 F) BUT the humidex makes it feel like its 42 C (108 F) !!!!! Please Lord....let our little air conditioners hold up :) !!!!
Today I'm going to share with you the SIX - 3" x 3" cards that we'll be making at Saturday's Stamp a Stack...we're also making TWO Bonus projects but I'm keeping those a secret until after Saturday :) !!!!
These cards come together so fast & easy with the NEW "Easy Events" Stamp set !!! There's two more images in the stamp set as well...we'll be using six of the eight...

Today I want to share with you the 2nd New Catty Sneak Peek Card that everyone will be making on the 23rd !
This card is straight out of the New Catty sample ideas....seriously...there are about a million ideas in the catalogue (ok..that "might" be a slight exaggeration but there are A LOT :)
I LOVE this card...I LOVE the New Stamp Set (Field Flowers) and I LOVE this colour combo (Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso)

Tonight we have TWO soccer games to attend...thankfully both games are at the Belmont Soccer field and the girls are each playing on the fields that are side by side so we're going to sit between the two fields and try and watch both games :) !!!! Hello My WONDERFUL friends !!!!
From time to time I wonder if I share TOO much of my personal life on my blog and then when I choose to "put myself out there" I'm ALWAYS so thankful for all your love, support and encouragement !!!
I CAN NOT thank you enough for all your comments and emails about Colton leaving to work up north for the next 3 - 6 months and my "mama heart" being sad...
The last several years has been a BIG transition in my role as "mom"...Cait getting married 2 years ago then moving to Toronto last summer, Jess getting married 1 year ago and now Colton working up North and although ALL of these are absolutely wonderful things to happen in our childrens' lives it has meant that I've had to let them go and that's not always easy....and I've always known that letting them go would not be easy for me. But..God is good and I'm thankful that He gives me the strength to move forward in these new stages...including the absolute JOY that awaits us in becoming grandparents this coming Fall.
So once again....thank you...
Speaking of which tomorrow I'll be sharing an ultrasound picture of our Grandbaby from last week and I'll also be sharing whether we're having a grandson or granddaughter !!!!
For today...I wanted to share with you a card that we made at a recent workshop...you can never have enough Birthday cards on hand :)
