Happy Hump Day !!! :)
It may be Hump Day but....it's a Happy Hump day for me !!! Why you might ask....I'm so glad you asked :) I was blessed once again to be asked by SCS (Split Coast Stampers) to do another tutorial for their website. Please check their website throughout the day as it will be posted at some point (just not sure when)....boy...didn't I sound needy :) You can find their website here: www.splitcoaststampers.com I've said this a million times before, but it's worth repeating....I love their website and always get a ton of inspiration there ! It's absolutely free to join and I would strongly recommend that you do !! You won't regret it.....promise !
Kevin wanted me to tell you that Roxy Blox are always available to order ! He's just finishing up another set of orders to ship out today and is always happy to take your orders. With Stampin' Up! just releasing it's Spring/Summer retired stamp set list you might have some stamps sets that you'd like extra wood blocks for and Kevin's your guy (actually he's my guy but he can be your wood block guy :) If you'd like more information about the stamp sets that he makes blocks for and details about pricing please click here !!! :) Please feel to contact us with any questions or orders....always happy to help.
Last night was my other monthly club night !!! What a blast it is to spend an evening with these ladies....too much fun for sure !!! Here is one of the projects that we made. The SECOND I saw this card on Jenn Dierck's website I KNEW I had to share this my club girls !!! It's a great way to show how to emboss while creating a great summertime card. You could make this invitation to BBQ, Wedding Shower or Birthday Party Card ! Jenn Bain (one of my club girlie girls) came up with the genius idea to put dazzling diamonds around the rim of the glass to look like sugar.....isn't she a genius !!! Be sure to use Cardstock Vellum...it has extra weight and gives the perfect frosted look to the glass. It's actually the ONLY vellum I use :) You can see Jenn Diercks Blog Here !! You'll want to take some time and look around her blog....she's an absolute sweetheart and is one talented lady !!!!
Supplies: All Stampin' Up! Stamps: Fresh Cuts, Tart & Tangy; Paper: Cardstock Vellum, Cutie Pie DP, Yoyo Yellow, Whisper White; Ink: Versamark, Yoyo Yellow; Accessories: 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, White EP, Heat Tool, Mini Glue Dots
Next I wanted to share with you the other card that we made. This is the same card that we made last week with my other wonderful club ladies but I changed up the Designer Paper and Cardstock. You can see last week's card here Same layout, techniques just different papers but two different looks. Here's the one we did last night...
I wanted to close off today with a picture that I took yesterday of Brooke and Mackenzie. I simply asked them to hug each other and this was the beautiful result of their wonderful and protective love for each other.....enjoy...
You already know what I'm gonna say....Hug the ones you love.
You are too funny (about Kevin being your guy well actually your block guy...)
Had a blast last night at club and I found myself admiring the lemonade card - it looks like a real glass of lemonade.
Brook and Mackenzie - Nicole says she missed seeing you and is coming next month to visit with you.
I love this picture of you two.
