Holla !!!
Poor Scotty !!! He had surgery on Thursday for an ingrown toenail. If any of you had had this you KNOW how painful it is!!! He's recouping now and help him feel better I made him a "Get Well Soon" card. I hope he appreciates how much work I put into this card for him :) I've known for a few days that I was going to use "All in the Family" and when I went to start the card I realized I didn't have a stamp that could serve as a bed or couch for him lie on. Then I remembered "Time for You" and that it had a bench so with some masking Scott magically appears on the bench !! I have to admit I'm super pleased how it turned out and how I made his toe look huge and red....hehehe !!! He'll hopefully be back on his feet without a cane in the next few days. He's a good sport so I know he won't be offended that I posted his card....although he says he doesn't read my blog (funny how you can not read a blog and yet often post comments !!! Love ya, Scott)
I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge which might I brag a bit to say that Beate said was inspired by a card I made back in January.....WOWZA !!!!!
Supplies: All Stampin' Up! Stamps: All in the Family, Time for You, Fun & Easy Notes, Stitched Exotics; Paper: Spring Break DP, Blue Bayou, Old Olive, Whisper White; Ink: Black Stazon, Markers - Real Red, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink; Accessories: Pewter Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-o-dile, Ice Rhinestone Brads, Photo Corner Punch, Stamp-ma-a-jig, Dimensionals
Tomorrow is Victoria Day so you know what that means.......a day off AND extra stamp time (hopefully) !! :) To all my fellow Canadians enjoy your day off tomorrow and to my American friends....I'm thinking of ya as you head back to work :( Take a little time to create and hug the ones you love the most !

OH my goodness LOL your card is sooooo AWESOME GF! Poor Scotty I so know that ingrown toenails are NO FUN and hurt sooo abd Poor guy .. I Just know your card will lift his spirits .. what a Hoot .. and that HUGE toe on your card ( LOL) is really what it feels like

This is hilarious and so cute.
Scott I am not saying your toe pain is hilarious because I am sure it is not. When your feet hurt your whole body is in pain it seems.
Corinne I love your humour and creativity. I need to borrow your bench.

I hope Scott feels better and I LOVE the card! I made a card for a friend once using the Feel Better penguin stamp set -- she had surgery on her foot as well so freehanded bandages around the foot -- almost as clever as yours! Jeanne

I feel Scotty's pain! Yep, I've had that done before. I told the pediatrist that I'd rather be sitting in the dentist chair! Don't like anyone touching my feet!!! Your card for Scotty is very clever, Roxy!
