Lookey Lookey What Kevin did for me !!!
Besides being my knight in shining armour...Kevin is a woodworking extradinaire (spelling?). I was telling him of my dilema of wanting to separate some new stamp sets and of course....he had a solution !!! He MADE me a set of 33 individual blocks so that I could separate and mount the NEW "Many Happy Returns" stamp set AND also made me 9 individual blocks for the "Happiness" background stamp set !!!! These blocks even have the same grip as my other blocks and are made of hard wood !!! They're absolutely PERFECT (just like him :) !!! He is offering to make these for anyone else would like them....and oh my gosh...he's making them cheap cheap !!! Email me for details and prices. He's now making me a set for mounting my large alphabet sets so I don't have to double mount them...which he'd also make available to you all too !!! WOWZA !!!!
Here are some "before" and "after" shots of the stamp sets that he's made blocks for....enjoy :)

Here's a card I made last night with the separated "Happiness" set !!! I'm really pleased with how it turned and being able to use the images separately completely rocks !!! If you look at my "Happy Heart Day" card from yesterday (the elephant and the mouse together) the verse "Just the 2 of us" is from the separated Many Happy Returns....as well as the "Head Over Heels" from the candy bag topper !!! Cool, eh !!

What a great guy you have for doing this for you and even us (this makes him our knight/hero as well you know) I don't have any stamps like that yet but can I keep it in mind for the future?
By the way Kevin, I was one of the lucky recipiants of your stamp pad, marker, ink refil organizer and I love it. Thank You.

I emailed about the blocks, but also had to share a chuckle from when I was reading your post initially. I thought you'd written that he was your knight in shining AMOUR (as in love, not hard metal). :)
Your card is also lovely!

What a great idea! Are the wooden block sets only for Happiness
(9 blocks) and Many Happy Returns (33 blocks)?
Thanks!

What a catch....I wish you could bottle Kevin up and sell him at Home Depot/Menard's/Lowe's. Do you have wood blocks for any other sets? I was thinking about Full Calendar. Please advise whenever you have a spare moment...Happy stampin'....Jules
