A card that stretched me (but I loved it..the stretching I mean) and price reduction on Name Frame Class !!!
Holla :)
What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? Here in South Western Ontario it's a balmy 4 C or 40 F. It was brutal windy last night and is dreary this morning. The sun is suppose to come out this afternoon....I sure hope so, I'm suffering from sunlight deprivation !!! Here it is January and when I went running last night I had on light running pants, a short sleeve shirt and light windbreaker !!! It's crazy..we should be under more than a foot of snow at this time of year...oh well...I'm not complaining but I do need some sunshine soon :)
NOTE: I have reduced the class/kit price of the Name Frame Class from $40 to $35 ...it's my little "January Pick Me Up Gift to you all :)" Also....Beverly asked me a great question that I wanted to address. She asked how the frame would look with a smaller family and a shorter last name. The huge advantage to Kevin making the frames is we can adjust the size of the opening. So..instead of a 5"x7" opening we would make it a 4" x 6" and I'd stamp more flowers around the family. I also have a larger alpha set that I would use to stamp out a smaller last name instead of the smaller alpha I used because our last name is longer. Hope that helps :)
Today's card was a bit of a stretch for me....it's not my usual style but I really enjoyed the process of making it. It stretched me to work with a different kind of layout and it was nice to spend some extra time just slowly creating. One of my 2008 goals is to continue to stretch myself creatively...hence this card :) Let me know what you think of her.

I think the card looks great! I can't wait to have a free minute to "slowly" create a card. Maybe next week... By the way, even though I live in Boston, known for the "New England" winters, it was a truly balmy day -- 61 degrees here!! My kids were outside all afternoon in short sleeves (I know -- next week they'll be sick again!!). Jeanne
