Happy Sunny Monday Morning !!!
I'm in a good mood with this sun shining today, especially after having a rainy and dreary Ontario weekend !!! But the sun is out so all is well.....did I hear an amen sister......amen !!!
I love this little bookmark and it makes a great little "add on" to any card, gift or book that you might give. It comes together super fast and is easily personalized to whoever you are giving it to.
Here are the supplies: All Stampin' Up! (of course :) Cardstock: Regal Rose and Petals and Paisley scrapbook paper (Spring Mini); Ink: Regal Rose and Rose Red (for the words); Stamps: Amazing to Zany; Accessories: Tag Punch, Celery Ribbon, 1/8" hand punch, magnet strip (dollar store)
Step #1 - Punch out (using tag punch) two tags and antique the edges with a sponge and Regal Rose ink.
Step #2 - Decorate one side of your tag as desired. I used Amazing to Zany to stamp out "Amazing Friend" using Rose Red ink and punched out the daisy using our Petals & Paisley scrapbook paper and sponged the edges of the tag and flower with Regal Rose ink.
Step #3 - On what will be the inside of your bookmark place two pieces of magnetic strip tape at the bottom edge.
Step #4 - Now put your two tags together with your good sides facing out and your magnets on the inside and punch a hole in the top centre so that you can thread your ribbon through and VOILA you're done !!! Enjoy and if you have any questions...you know I'm here :) Have a good one.

Super cute, and it won't fall out like a regular book mark when you pick up the book the wrong way!

Love that idea!! If you wanted a larger one you could use the tag corner punch instead. Great idea!

SUPER DUPER cute!!! Of course, I do check your blog daily but I use google reader so I have to take that extra set to go to your blog to comment - so I thought I'd just do them all at once!! (don't I sound SOO lazy?)

I made some of these for some of the of girls at Convention to use as bookmarks for the new catalog. I cut an 8 1/2 cardstock in quarters and used the word window punch and attached the bookmarks, it looked really good and I plan to do this for a stamp camp. Thanks for the idea, I love it!!
Linda
PS. you're right Convention 2008 was fantastic! Looking forward to 2009 Convention!
